The mission statement of the Detroit Homeownership Center CDC is to facilitate the empowerment of individuals to achieve and maintain homeownership through effective education and counseling, before, during and after the home purchase

Our national executive management team is aware of the significance of ensuring reliable, high-quality services as well as gathering and evaluating the outcomes of the services we offer each client.
Over the past twenty years, DHCC has offered HUD-approved housing education and counseling services to more than 200,000 persons and families looking for safe, just, and affordable housing. DHCC has also offered community development education and counseling services to churches, community development organizations, and governmental municipalities over the past fifteen years, and DHCC looks forward to servicing our community for years to come.
